Guyphytsy's proposal is based on the pedagogy of Butoh Dance, as well as on Integrated Movement Techniques, derived from the diverse experiences gathered throughout her practice.
The sessions are composed of two main practices: basic training and composition. Basic training aims to provide technical tools as well as an understanding of –abstract forces– so that participants can develop a solid understanding of the fundamentals of movement. Composition, on the other hand, involves a series of guided exploration and improvisation exercises that seek to explore diverse images, materialities, sensations and concrete forms, from which transformative forces and spirits of time and space can emerge.
