Abstract Forces is a 2-day workshop held by Guyphytsy Aldalai (Mexico)

Guyphytsy's proposal is based on the pedagogy of Butoh Dance, as well as on Integrated Movement Techniques, derived from the diverse experiences gathered throughout her practice. The sessions are composed of two main practices: basic training and composition.

​About Community Butoh Class

This class is a butoh-based inquiry. We will engage, invite, explore, inquire and utilize energetic, imagistic practices. Together we will follow and listen to our weight and allow ourselves to  “be moved” into embodied unknowns. This class provides an opportunity to channel and hone your attention, slow down, notice and listen deeply to your inner experience:  Sensations, impulses and unexplainable complexes to dance your “humaness.” what could it mean to dance a breath of yourself, the air of your being.
